I posted on Gumtree looking for spare Christmas decorations because I love decking out my house each year and also raise money for Leeds Children’s Hospital - it's a cause that means a lot to me. Got a bit carried away and ended up coughing up £60 for 52 boxes sent through DHL. Honestly, felt daft after, but hey, at least sweet revenge is on the cards now. These numbers 07526102403 and +44 7448 272068 are part of the mess.

A bloke who said his name was Martin rang me about a Gumtree ad I’d put up the day before. He claimed 07448272068 was his partner Ryan’s number. Pretty sure it was all a scam. I got tricked into thinking he was legit and even sent some cash. Later, I found out the number only had WhatsApp set up since September 2022. He actually contacted me from 07526 102403, and on WhatsApp it shows "~ Mr R F". But then the bank info he gave was under the name L E Smith. Thinking back, none of it added up at all.

Got a call from this 07448 272068 number, some bloke saying he's Martin from Wigan. He told me he runs an engineering firm and had snapped up 9 storage units full of gear he needed cleared out. He replied to my Gumtree ad for ‘vintage PCs’ and even sent a picture - only later I realised it was nicked from another person’s Facebook. Said there was loads of vintage computer gear worth thousands but was only willing to pay £150 🤣 Absolute joke!

Got a call from someone trying to push a wanted ad on me, said they'd send it by DHL. The bloke spoke pretty good English but had a weird accent. I checked the number and it charges 23p a minute, so best not to ring back. I found some people online saying the guy's name is Piotr Szwedko and that his bank account has been flagged. Apparently, a few years back he was in the Torquay area and even appeared in the Devon online paper as someone who got assaulted. Makes you wonder what the story really is.

I had responded to a wanted ad for an auto electrician, and he asked for the money for parts upfront. I sent £30, but after that, he just vanished and never got back to me. Watch out - this guy’s a dodgy scammer!

I got a response from some bloke to a 'wanted' ad I posted saying he had the item I needed. Then he mentioned he'd be driving a delivery van near my area in a day or so. Bit fishy if you ask me!
