I got a call telling me there was a letter from the DWP about legal action, and they wanted me to press 1 to talk to someone. It set alarm bells ringing though, cause the voice saying I was on hold sounded nothing like the usual DWP ones. It was really fast, sounded rushed, had a different accent and used weird phrasing that you'd never hear from a proper government line. It just felt off and not at all what you'd expect from a serious organisation like the DWP.
