Got a call outta the blue from some bloke who said he was with a company - don’t quite remember which one. He launched straight into a spiel about how laws were changing regarding care home fees and that people might lose their houses to cover costs. Sounded like he was trying to scare folk, especially older people, into using their services, which seemed abit dodgy to me. I got really annoyed and told him off, and he hung up pretty quick cos I was livid. So yeah, not sure what the full deal was, but it seemed like a scam or at least very dodgy tactics to me.
