Earlier today, I received a rather dubious phone call from someone purporting to be an employee of Barclays. He inquired about my credit card and whether I was pleased with their services. Immediately, it was clear to me that this person was not affiliated with my bank at all. Eventually, I decided to end the call.

I received a rather peculiar call today from a chap with a thick accent who claimed to represent Barclays. It was all rather baffling, considering I’m not even a customer of that bank! I had to firmly ask him to clear off!
