Got a message from mum saying “hey, been ages! How are u?” so I checked the number. Came up as unknown and maybe a scam. I've blocked it now just in case.

Got a text from this number saying “Hey, haven’t seen you in ages” or something like that. Problem is, I don’t recognise the number at all. Weird thing is, I noticed a bunch of others - like six different folks - have looked up this number just today, so my guess is it’s probably some sort of scam going around.
