Somebody called saying they were from BT Openreach, and I instantly knew it was a con. I normally mess with them a bit but didn't get the chance this time. They told me something like, "Your line settings changed from public to private, have you made any changes?" I said no, they repeated the same line again, and I said no once more but suggested they call my provider instead. Usually, they try to convince me the problem’s on my end and offer to help, but this bloke just swore and hung up on me. Proper shameful behaviour, BT!
