Got a call from a blocked number about life insurance, really annoying.

I saw an unknown number pop up so just left it ringing. Didn’t fancy picking up for someone I didn’t know.

I got a call saying I had £1844 waiting for me. They gave me some sort of reference number and then asked me to repeat it back and confirm my postcode. Just as I did, they suddenly ended the call. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

Somebody called me saying I was owed £1000 and asked for my bank details, like my sort code and account number. I told them to just send a cheque instead, but they wouldn’t agree, so I ended the call.
