I got a robotic voice on the phone the other day claiming there was a £900 charge made on my credit card and if I didn’t approve it, I should hit 1. They never said which company they were from, which made me suspicious straight away. I ended the call right away because banks usually don’t get in touch like that without giving proper info about who they are. After hanging up, I looked through my bank accounts online and everything seemed fine, no big payments waiting or anything.
