This guy claimed he was with some debt help group and already had my name. I made sure to change my voice so they couldn’t record or copy it, told him I wasn’t interested, and then just cut him off and ended the call right away.

The caller, a man called Bruce with an African accent, wanted to know if anyone in my house was a former service member. When I questioned his reason, he just ended the call. If you answer once, be ready for them to keep ringing. Honestly, it's safer to ignore these calls - could be a trick to mimic your voice or something worse.

Had a call from an Asian bloke offering to help clear my debts. I couldn’t really tell where he was ringing from. When I asked for his details and how he got my number, the line went all static. Sounds like whoever gave them my info got my name and address totally mixed up.
