I was sound asleep when this number rang, saying I needed some kind of financial help. Like usual, I answered pretty bluntly since I suspected it was just another scam. But this time, when I told him to shut up, the bloke on the other end, who sounded Indian, told me to shut up and called me a b##ch. Seriously, we ended up swearing at each other over the phone for a good half a minute! Weirdest call I’ve had!

Got a call from an Indian bloke with a really hard-to-understand accent, claiming to know my name and chatting about some government plan to clear 80% of debts. Honestly, it caught me off guard! I started giggling, but he just carried on with his mumbled sales pitch. That just made me laugh even more, then he suddenly cut the call. Bit cheeky if you ask me! Haha! Blocked straight away.

Got a call about lowering my debt, I told the guy I don’t owe anything, then he started saying I was fibbing and that my address showed I had debts (which is not true). After a bit of back and forth, I told him it was rude to call me a liar, and then he went on to call me a foolish woman. I totally lost my cool. He kept ringing me over and over again, so now I just don’t pick up and block the number straight away.

The first time I answered, they said they were from the GOV run CAB, but I know they wouldnt just call about your debt outta the blue - you normally have to go to them first. Got a call from an Asian bloke saying he was from some fraud team looking into my bank transfers. Dude got annoyed when I wouldn’t give out my info since he was calling from a mobile number I didn’t know. Told him straight up that he was a scammer and a complete muppet. Ended the call right there. Reported the number to the cops just to be safe.
