Got a call on my landline from a bloke claiming to be from Sky, but his accent sounded totally foreign, definitely not from the UK. He said my router was having issues and that he could sort it out for me. Something felt dodgy, so I asked him to send me the details by email and said I’d look into it myself later. Afterwards, I called Sky and they told me they don’t make calls like that to their users. Odd thing is, I only ever gave my landline number to a couple of family members for emergencies. Seems like a phishing scam to me!
