This dodgy company keeps ringing my mum, who’s 81, all day long - it’s such a pain! Most of the time the number doesn’t even show up, but when I used the call back button on their automated message, some woman with a Scottish accent answered from 07446789899. I told her to stop calling my mum, and she just hung up straight away! Really hoping she gets what’s coming to her for being that rude!

So, I got a call from a withheld number just yesterday. At the close of the call, they offered me an option to take myself off their calling list (which, honestly, never seems to work) or to ask for a callback. I chose to ask for a callback in hopes of getting some more details and politely requesting to be removed from their records, but they just ignored me. I mentioned the TPS rules to them, but they claimed they’re backed by the Government and therefore don’t have to follow TPS regulations. After that, I went ahead and submitted a TPS complaint.

Got a call from a private number around 9pm, some telemarketer trying to sell windows. I figured I’d mess around like they did with me so I hit 5 for them to call back. When I told them I was just wasting their time, they ended the call straight away. Now whenever they ring, I’m gonna keep pressing 5 till they give up.

Got a few calls from this lot with some sort of recorded message. Tried to check their number using 1471 but it was blocked. Next time they rang, I pressed 5 like they told me to, because they said they’d call back. When they did, I asked why they were hiding their number and if that’s even allowed. They just gave me a dodgy made-up number and then cut me off. Total scam, watch out!

So, I got a call from Green Deal. The first time, I just said nicely that I wasn’t interested. When they rang again, I told the chap that I’d already been contacted yesterday and asked to be removed from their calling list. I even said it sounded dodgy. Instead of backing off, he called me a drama queen and said he’d get me to talk with someone higher up. I told him no more calls as I’m the homeowner, but he just kept saying the same stuff. Proper annoying!

I decided to hit the button for a callback, and sure enough, this morning they rang me from the same number. When I told the person on the line that I wanted my number taken off their list and no more calls, she just cut me off mid-sentence! Total scam artists - just make sure to block this number the minute it pops up!

Cheers for the update in the last post. For about two weeks I just ignored these daily calls marked as "international" since there weren’t any other calls after that. Then, suddenly, I got bombarded with about a dozen calls from 07446789899 over just two days. After that, silence for five days with no new calls at all.

Got called like six times today by different women all claiming I asked them to ring me back! Their story switched every time - first it was a new boiler, then windows, then insulation... all sorts. Tried ringing the number back but it was dead. Best to just block or maybe report it!

I put a block on this number on the 27th of Sept, but it kept ringing through like 10 times across a couple days. Just so you know, 01315070370 isn’t a proper landline. It’s one of those virtual numbers they rent out (if it starts 0131507, it’s from DIDWW Ireland Ltd) and they can flip it on or off with a click. They’ve been messing about like this for years, honestly a right game of cat and mouse!

Green Deal are proper annoying! They ring from loads of different numbers so you can’t block em properly. So I decided to have a bit of fun and played along like I was interested. Next thing, they ring me back on a proper landline - what muppets! My plan? Call them loads of times and just hang up so they get a taste of their own medicine. It feels like they’re just taking advantage of people, especially the elderly. Honestly, someone ought to be able to cancel their phone service or block them for good.

They keep ringing me over and over, when I finally pick up all I get is silence. Just like others have said, it’s a total SCAM and so annoying with that auto redial stuff. Seems like they count on most people ignoring it, then randomly someone answers and they catch you off guard. When I try calling back, it just says “number unknown” and no one picks up. Oh no, not this again! These lot really don't know when to quit. I kept them going for ages. They wouldn’t say where they’re based, who actually does the window installations, or who’s behind the funding or finance. Just kept babbling on. I told her I had no clue what she was on about and hadn’t requested anything. She then tried saying maybe someone else in the house did. So, I joked back saying, "Well, that could be true, I do live with a few ghosts after all!" Honestly, such a daft call. Total SCAM.

They keep ringing me up about some 'Government Green Deal Recycle Scheme' or whatever. The closest answer I managed to get was that they were from Norwich. Whenever I try to find out their company's name, they just cut the call straight away. It’s all about trying to sell you double-glazed windows, nothing to do with any government deal.
