Some bloke called claiming he was with My Heritage, offering me a supposedly better deal on my subscription.

A London number rang me but I didn't answer, and then that same caller got in touch again less than a minute later. I'd just popped a My Heritage DNA gift into my basket to buy later and then, within about three minutes, got the call. This kinda thing happens loads after I go on their website. Proper annoying and feels super invasive 😠

I got a ring on my Norwegian mobile on Sunday, 27th August 2022.

I picked up the call, and a bloke asked if he could speak to me. I wasn’t at home at the time, so whoever answered said so. Then he just said thanks and ended the call straight away. He definitely knew who I was from the sound of it.

someone rang up sayin they're from aviva insurance but they couldn’t give me my policy number or even what job I had or the make of my car. when I asked about the accident date, they had no clue. really fishy if you ask me.

Pretty sure this number is linked to some firm, but I can’t find any details about it online. Has anyone come across this before? Just a heads up, if you get a call from this number, it’s probably one of those shared cost lines, so I’d avoid ringing back. I’ve seen similar numbers flagged around here before as scams for dodgy PPI stuff or telemarketing, so keep your guard up.

i never got any life insurance from them and now i just dont pick up. when i asked who it was, they just tried to chat about cutting costs on life insurance.
