Today, 2nd January 2026, I got a text claiming to be from EE’s reward points team with a link to click on. EE told me there’s no such division. The link led to what looked like a proper EE site, but it was fake, used by scammers. They were asking for personal info like name and address, supposedly to send gifts for being a “loyal customer” using points. EE confirmed it’s a scam and gave me a number to report it to their security team, which I did. I’m not sharing that number here so it doesn’t fall into the wrong hands and get abused by scammers again.
