I got a voicemail claiming I’d charged £900 on my Visa card in the US. It told me to press 1 if I didn’t make the purchase. I did, and then a man with a proper English accent answered, asking how he could assist. Normally, these calls have a foreign accent so you know it’s dodgy straight away. This one was sneaky though, could trick a lot more people since the voice sounded so legit.
