I received yet another dodgy call today from a different number, but it's still on the same mobile network. It was a pre-recorded blurb supposedly from Amazon Prime, warning me that I’d be charged £79.99 if I didn’t press 1. I already have a Prime subscription and pay for it monthly, so it's clear to me this is just a scam. I suspect they’re fishing for bank details or trying to pull some other trick to stop a payment. I didn’t hang about and ended the call, yet shortly after, I got another call from the same network that began with 07446!
