Got a call from someone speaking with an Indian accent claiming to be from BT. He said my internet speed was slow and wanted to run a check. The weird thing was, he didn’t know my name or even BT’s official contact number. I kept asking how exactly he plans to help, but it all sounded dodgy. It was clear to me he was trying some scam to steal info or something. Eventually, I just hung up because I was tired of his nonsense and his weak attempts to trick me.
