My dad, who’s quite vulnerable, got a call from a chap called Mr Saunders. He said he was from some company offering a certificate for having spray foam taken out of the loft, claiming it’d help with getting a mortgage later on. He also mentioned sending someone round to check the loft. When my partner phoned back to check things out, the bloke was really rude and pushy, barely letting my partner get a word in. He also tried to push a free EPC on us. Honestly, it sounds like a total scam to me.
