Received a dodgy call today purporting to be from Amazon Prime, alleging that funds had been deducted from my account. They were keen to have me install some remote access software on my devices-blatantly trying to take control of my personal information! Best advice: if you ever get a call of that nature, or one claiming to be from your internet provider, just cut them off immediately. Genuine companies would never ask you to download such programmes. This sneaky tactic is also prevalent with Microsoft scams, so stay vigilant!
