Total rip off! I paid in advance for my car’s service but when the time came, they never turned up. Tried ringing them loads but just got silence, only an automated text saying my car would be picked up soon. I looked up reviews and got really worried about losing my car, so I backed off. Even filled out a complaint form online where they promised someone would call me within 4 hours, but it’s been over a day now and nothing. No contact at all. Really disappointed.

Just picture dealing with the insurance lot: “Sir, you handed over your keys to a complete stranger, they’ve racked up three speeding tickets, run a red light and drove in a bus lane, plus you can’t show you weren’t behind the wheel.” Honestly, like that’d ever fly!

To those bad mouthing it, would you honestly prefer some random person towing your car away and never returning it? Sorted a temp car service quick and simple, car was supposed to come back same day, which actually never did. This Servicingstop outfit, avoid like the plague. My car just went missing, no clue where they took it, and the phones in their office just ring and ring with no answer. They never gave me any info about which garage they took it to. Then out of nowhere I get an email about extra work costing £800! Something about special oil changes and engine draining, which sounds a load of rubbish to me. I told them no way. Had to pay £320 for a service that used to be just £132 - total daylight robbery. Definitely better off taking your car to a nearby garage instead.

Avoid this garage and their service centre, they are total rip offs. I arranged for my car to get an MOT and service on Friday 16/1/21, paying £132 upfront. Then they hit me with a new bill for the service, after the MOT, which suddenly shot up to £320 for oil, filters and the lot. Still haven’t had my car back yet, they held onto it all weekend before bringing it back Monday. I told them to just do the MOT and no service, so I only wanted to get charged for the MOT and to get a refund for the extra. Really dodgy practice.

Posted about 3 hours ago. So apparently a garage uses some sort of ‘middle man’ to sort out collections and stuff. Seriously, come on, use some common sense. Why the heck would any garage do that? Honestly, some folks would probably think the moon’s made of cheese too!

Honestly, I wouldnt trust those cold calls at all. Always do a bit of digging and use your common sense before you get involved with anyone. It’s a shame, but that’s just how life is these days. Take care out there, everyone.

i usually use servicing stop to get my car looked after. they work with nearby garages but handle all the organising like picking up the car and stuff. i reckon this number was either theirs or maybe the garage’s, but i’m pretty sure it was the servicing stop one. from what i can tell, they’re alright.
