I got a call from a number with no caller ID, then they rang me back from 07445682759 saying they were from Aviva. They kept trying to make me believe my insurance was no longer valid, which is odd because I’ve never had any insurance with Aviva. When I tried calling the number from my landline, it just wasn’t working at all. Feels like a scam to me!

I got a call from 07445682759, and it was obviously some kind of money scam. My phone usually just drops the call quick, but I still knew something was fishy. If you see this number pop up, I’d say don’t pick up at all. I’ve already blocked and reported it so hopefully they’ll stop soon. These financial scams are just so annoying, I really wish they would just give it a rest.

I just received this threatening text from this number: "I’m Albanian, boss of the girl you messed with. Pay me £500 now or I’ll come after you. You’ve got 5 minutes. Listen carefully, I’m big Mafia round here, not scared of the police or anything. Think twice about what you do. I told you already I’m powerful in this town. You can block me if you want, but I’ll find you eventually and it will be serious, for you and your family." Blocked straight away.

Got a call from this number pretending to be Vodafone UK. They said I could get 50% off my current contract... I suspected it was dodgy straight away so played along for ages. Eventually, they wanted all my info - Vodafone login, password, full name, address, bank info, date of birth. I gave rubbish details and still they didn’t catch on until I told them the address was 10 Downing Street! Definitely a phishing scam trying to steal your money info. Beware!

Someone called claiming to be from the British Medical Association saying I hadn’t filled out my form. I’m getting calls like this almost every day from different numbers. When I told the bloke it was rubbish and fake, he got all defensive and said it was his right to call me if he wanted! I quickly told him to stop bothering me, maybe in a less polite way. Then he just hung up on me. I’ll see when they try again, but every number that rings like this is getting blocked straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the medical association, said they needed to update my details. They asked if I had my covid vaccinations and if I had any issues with my GP or the health service nearby. Then they wanted to know which company my life insurance was with. When I said I wasn’t happy giving that out, they just ended the call.
