I've been getting calls from various 07 numbers and it seems like scams every time.

Kept getting calls from loads of different numbers, saying they were doing a survey for Royal London. They started asking about my meds and medical history, which felt a bit off. Told them if they were my life insurance, they’d already have that info. At one point, the person was quite rude. Even after I ended the call, they rang again. So I called Royal London myself to check - turns out it’s definitely a scam.

Got a call saying I owed money to HMRC and something had been returned to them, asked me to press 1 to sort it out. I just ended the call straight away. Watch out for this one, it sounds dodgy.

So, yesterday I got a call from someone asking if I'd had the vaccine and how much I pay for my life insurance. I just ended the call but then they kept ringing me back loads of times from different numbers. Today’s been even worse, with them bothering me nonstop from various numbers. I’ve got some important calls due, so I can’t just ignore everything. Plus, not long ago I was targeted by one of those fake Amazon scams trying to trick me.

Got a call supposedly from Aviva about reviewing my life insurance. Thing is, I’ve never had any policy with them! This is already the fifth time in two days they’ve called. They’re switching up the numbers they use, which is super annoying. I've blocked every number that came through, but somehow they still manage to ring me.

Got calls from some bloke claiming he’s involved with a government project. He reckoned I’ve got debts I haven’t sorted and said they could wipe some of it off for me. Told him straight to take me off his list and quit ringing me. These idiots ring me thrice daily, using different mobiles every time, so I block them but they just keep coming back. Before, they even said it was about Covid updates or accident insurance. Blocking one number doesn’t fix anything since they clearly have loads more and won’t give up.

If you get these calls, text 7726 from your mobile. They’ll attempt to track down where they’re coming from.

Over the past week or so, I've been getting calls from a bunch of different numbers, all showing up as Hutchinson 3G UK Ltd. I looked them up here every time, but now I just don't pick up if I don't know the number. When I finally answered one, it was a woman with an Indian accent, so I'm guessing it’s some call centre. I’ve blocked all those numbers on my phone now, but I bet they'll ring back again tomorrow.

Got a call about some sort of big loans they've supposedly given me (which is funny cause I’ve never taken any loan at all haha). When I told them not to keep my info and I didn’t agree to this, they just wouldn’t remove me from their list. Then they went on about why I even have a phone if I don’t want calls from them. Once I pointed out that they had no right to hold onto my personal data without my say so, they just ended the call.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent who claimed he was John from the British Medical Association. I told him straight up, that’s rubbish and your name isn’t John! Considering the BMA is linked to doctors, I reckon these folks have completely got the wrong idea about who they’re pretending to be. What a mess!

I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t know. If they don’t leave a voicemail, I just block them straight away. But no matter how quickly I block, they keep ringing from different numbers. Today alone, I got called three times, all from mobiles. I looked up each one and saw loads of people saying the same thing. Looks like they’re all coming from the same scam operation. So yeah, definitely scammers.
