Got a recorded call saying it was from some crime investigation team about dodgy activity linked to my National Insurance number. They said I had to get in touch with them straight away or else my NI would be frozen. The weird thing is, loads of different numbers have sent me the identical message - these lot change their number all the time. I’ve never bothered calling back since I’m pretty sure real authorities wouldn’t reach out like this. Be careful, it’s definitely a scam!
