This is actually a legit number from Lloyd's Bank. If you happen to get a call from this number and you have an account or any dealings with Lloyd's Bank, don’t just block or ignore it straight away. Instead, end the call and ring the bank using the phone number on your card to be safe. Keep in mind, scammers often fake bank numbers, so any call claiming to be from your bank should be treated carefully. When in doubt, always double-check with your bank directly.

Got messages supposedly from my bank two times in just a couple weeks. Definitely a scam, watch out everyone!

I’ve been getting texts from this number claiming to be from Bank of Scotland about some suspicious activity. Every time I book something online, like flights or hotels, they somehow get hold of my bank details and phone number and end up buying stuff without my permission. Because of this, I had to cancel my debit card twice and get a replacement each time. Even after all that, this same number messaged me again right after my latest booking. Really dodgy.

I actually found out this number was my bank calling me! I had reported it earlier 'cos I was a bit uneasy after reading other people's remarks. Better safe than sorry, honestly.

Just got a message after trying to pay online and my card didn't go through, saying I had to reply or else my payments would be blocked in the future. It even mentioned the exact amount and the shop I was buying from. I've been tricked before, so I instantly knew that mixing bank stuff with random phone texts is sketchy.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Lloyds Bank, they left a voicemail telling me to ring 03330459564. At first, I believed it was genuine, especially since they mentioned some things about my recent Amazon orders. But then they asked for my bank info, and that's when I realised something was definitely off.

Absolutely a phishing scam without a doubt! Please take heed! I got a dodgy text from this number purporting to be from Lloyds Bank, alleging there was some dodgy transaction on my account. The message urged me to press 1 to confirm my identity with one of their representatives. It was a blatant ruse to fish for bank details. To top it off, I'm not even a customer of Lloyds!

My mum, who’s 80, got a text from someone claiming to be her bank asking if she’d just spent £23 on TikTok. She replied because she didn’t realise it was a scam. Just thought I’d warn everyone to be careful with these sorts of messages!

WATCH OUT FOR CLICK LINKS THAT STEAL YOUR MONEY! Make sure you report every scam call or message straight to the police’s fraud centre. Just search ‘action fraud’ and visit the ‘police.uk’ website. Find the section about reporting phishing scams and carefully read the guidance. Fill in all the details about the scam, including any web addresses or links you received. You don’t need to register or give personal info unless you’ve actually lost cash. Reporting all these dodgy approaches is the best way to help the police keep track and fight back against these thieves.

I've shared a couple of times what needs to be done to put an end to these scammers ripping off vulnerable people and pestering the rest of us. It’s not the easiest thing to do, but I’ve been reporting every scam call and text to the police database (I even bookmarked the site). The truth is, it’ll take thousands of reports from lots of people before any real change happens, but every single day plenty of folks are filing reports on here. You won’t see instant results if you report, but if nobody bothers, the scams will just carry on without any chance of being stopped.

Ellie Watson from Boothstown is a proper thief and a dodgy one at that. She's always nicking stuff and seems to live in her own little world. Honestly, she's not the sharpest tool in the shed - like really clueless. For example, she insists you can't get pregnant just by standing up in the shower. She’s only 20, but you wouldn’t guess it from the nonsense she talks.

Ellie Watson from Boothstown is such a dodgy character, honestly a proper cheat. She’s always nicking stuff and has her head in the clouds, totally clueless. And when I say clueless, I mean really, really daft. She once claimed you can’t get pregnant if you’re standing up in the shower. She’s only 20 too.

Just got a message claiming my Halifax payment didn’t go through, but I’ve got plenty in my account. Then, a strange number texts me asking to confirm it. Looks a bit fishy if you ask me. I think it’s safer to ring up the bank directly and sort it out.

Got a text from this number, said it was my boss, but it’s a total scam. They’re trying to get your bank info, like those dodgy covid scams where they ask for your bank details to supposedly cover a test costing £1. Stay well clear of it!

I got a text saying "your payment didn’t go through, reply YES if this was you, NO if it wasn’t." It said there’s no need to ring them and texting back is the fastest way to sort things out. It claimed to be from Lloyds Bank but unlike their other genuine messages that mention Lloyds clearly, this one just showed a random number. Feels a bit dodgy to me.
