They never actually rang me, instead they popped me into a group chat with a load of strangers, sent some dodgy phishing message (do NOT click on those links!!) and then booted me out of the chat. The message said something like: The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) have noticed you haven’t completed your 2024 Winter Fuel Allowance form yet. Because of this, they can’t pay out the £300 allowance. To make sure you don’t miss out, finish your application before 15 February 2025.
