you should report this number and the details from the link. just google 'action fraud', go to the 'police.uk' website, and then find the 'reporting' tab. from the dropdown menu, pick the section for reporting phishing. keep scrolling till you get past the part about scam emails to where it talks about other types of scams, then follow the steps there. there’s no need to sign up or anything.

Just got a text claiming to be from GiftGaff about a sim transfer, but it’s a total scam. Don’t even think about clicking the link they sent!

Got a message saying my new giffgaff SIM swap is in progress, and if I didn’t initiate it, to click a link. As if! Total phishing attempt, no thanks!

this person said they were from giffgaff and told me to change my sim and click a link. i’m not with giffgaff anyway, and if i was, they surely wouldn’t be texting me from a regular phone number like that. definitely dodgy.

Just got a message saying my request to switch to gifgaf was being processed. Problem is, I never asked for any switch. Feels like a scam to me.

I never got a call, just a text saying i had a gift gaff sim, which is totally not true, and it had a dodgy link attached.
