Got a call today from a number I didn’t recognise, looked like a mobile. When I picked up, there was this automated lady saying someone tried to use my Visa for a £900 charge. She told me to press 1 if it wasn’t me. I didn’t press anything and just ended the call straight away. After that, I reported it on my phone and came here to check it out. Banks don’t ring like that, it’d always be the fraud team if they needed to. Don’t get caught by this, just hang up quickly, report it, and block the number.
