Got a call from 07444218310 today, some bloke saying he was from a government office about benefits and debts. Honestly, I don't reckon any official dept would be ringing you up from a random mobile number, especially sounding like he's got a heavy foreign accent. Seems dodgy to me.

Got two calls in like 3 minutes from some debt reconciliation lot. First time I told them I don’t owe anything, then when they called again I said I’d report them - they just hung up on me.

Every day around the same time I get calls from different numbers but they just hang up as soon as I pick up. Got fed up and ended up blocking all of them.

This is the second occasion they've rung me. I picked up and all I got was dead silence, then a beep before they just cut off. Feels like they’re trying to find someone actually there so they can keep pestering until you either give in or they catch someone who’s not very cautious.
