I got a call claiming to be from Amazon Prime saying someone was trying to open an account using my phone number. When I asked them to verify my bank details, they said no due to data privacy rules. Then I tried to get them to confirm my address, but they wouldn't. I asked if they could send me an email from Amazon with info but they said they didn’t have my email on file. Next, they wanted to get into my PC, phone, or tablet to remove the information. Sounds like a scam to me.
