Got a call from a woman saying she was with some government loft insulation programme. I’d heard this spiel loads of times so I didn’t bother listening and just ended the call straight away. Thought it wasn't worth my time.

Just like some of the others mentioned, I got a call from someone claiming to be from an energy provider offering us a big government grant for spray foam insulation due to our age. It all sounded pretty legit. I didn’t book anything though (they said they were nearby) - I told the caller my partner wasn’t home and that I’d have to check with her before going any further!
