Got called by someone pretending to be from parking enforcement trying to fine me. Definitely a scam, so I blocked and reported them straight away.

For weeks now, loads of these parking fine messages have been flooding phones all over the UK. They come from different numbers each time, and the included links might be loaded with malware. Every time you get one, forward the message to 7726 and also send a screenshot to [email protected]. This is really the only way for Action Fraud and the National Cyber Security Centre to track down where these texts are coming from and check out what those dodgy links contain. The more people report them, the better chance the authorities have at sorting this mess out.
