Got an email claiming to be from Lebara, thanking me for signing up with a certain phone number assigned to me. I foolishly tapped the number in the email which rang, but I didn’t pick up. Shortly after, the same number called back. A woman with an Asian accent was on the line, background noise was loud, and she asked if I could hear her. When I said yes, she just ended the call. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me. Feels like they’re fishing for mobile numbers and maybe even recording voices for some sort of scammy security trick. Watch out, folks.
