I just got a voicemail from someone pretending to be from BT’s tech team, saying I had to press 1 to talk to a technician or else my internet would be cut off. It sounded suspicious right away, so I didn’t even think twice and hung up straight away!

They keep ringing me up claiming I owe them for an account I don't even have. I told them to quit calling but they just wouldn't listen, kept cutting me off and being really annoying. In the end, I had to just hang up on them.

Somebody called saying I had signed up for an account ages ago and wanted to offer me training or something. When I asked where they got my phone number from, they just kept insisting I had an account with them. I tried to tell them to remove my number from their list, but then they just ended the call on me. Quite annoying!

For more than a week now, this number has been ringing me up twice daily. Whenever I pick up, it’s just some weird static or what sounds like office chatter in the background. The last time they rang, right before midnight, it shook the whole house awake at 11:58pm! Quite annoying really.
