Got a call from a bloke called James claiming he was from the Energy Savings Trust, but when I checked with them, they’d never heard of him and they don’t do cold calling anyway. They said they’d send a surveyor over for a free loft inspection and give a written report at no cost. Then someone from Solcon Group Ltd contacted us and said the surveyor’s name was Tyler Cub. Later, a guy named Jason Porter actually called saying he was the surveyor. Something about the whole thing felt off, so I reckon it’s a scam.
