I got this call from a company named Reclaim, sounded like a proper AI voice, saying I could get money back for a car I supposedly bought on hire purchase in the past 20 years. Thing is, I've never had a car, so I told them that, but the voice just kept going like it was pre-recorded or some sort of robot. I just hung up and blocked the number right away.

I wasn’t planning on picking up since the number was unfamiliar, but I was waiting for an important call so I took a chance. The voice on the line sounded like AI at first, very polished, then they connected me to a real person. This guy went on and on about pcp claims, assuring me repeatedly he wasn’t trying to scam me. It just felt off with all that over-the-top info and promises. I cut the call pretty quick after that. Something about it set off warning flags, like a scam maybe. They must’ve found my details somewhere else. I didn’t share anything with them though.
