When I further probed about how many cards he possessed, he claimed a whopping nine, clearly fibbing! I mentioned that I’m employed by the NHS (which I genuinely am), and he audaciously called me a liar. The nerve of him! The exchange quickly soured, and he resorted to some rather vulgar language aimed at me. I fired back and promptly ended the call, telling him where to stuff it.
