Got a call from this number but no voicemail left and no clue who it could be. Gonna block it now.

Got a call with this strange spiel about "no worries, this isn't a cold call," saying I'd clicked on some Facebook ad for something called "Alpha market trading" and she was following up. I just told her straight up, if it's not a cold call, then it has to be a scam because I've never asked them to ring me and I've no interest in stock trading. The woman sounded Indian but spoke with an American accent. She seemed quite shocked when I called her out as a scammer.

Like someone else mentioned, I had a call from a woman speaking with a North American accent, claiming I had some dealings with David Bach online. She asked if I invested in the stock market and when I said no, she checked if I wanted some trade tips. I said no again and she was quite polite before ending the call. She also claimed to be part of an independent team of financial advisors and solicitors. I’m pretty sceptical about any real link to David Bach - seems more like she was just using his name to sound legit.

Got a call from some blocked number, sounded like it was from the US or Canada. No clue who it could be, just a random cold call. Ended up blocking it straight away.
