Got a call today from someone with a heavy Indian accent, barely making out what they said. Didn’t get a name, just something about a gas and electricity company. When I asked who they were trying to reach or their name, they just ended the call straight away.

I searched online for a quote with Be-Wiser and then got a call from this number saying it’d be simpler to sort it out over the phone. I’ve been with Be-Wiser for ages and the bloke was really helpful, although he hasn’t managed to find me a better quote yet. So far, all good experience.

I took the precaution of unchecking the box indicating that I didn’t wish to be contacted by phone by the two cheapest insurers, but that evidently fell on deaf ears. Although I answered their incessant calls and clearly stated that I had already secured insurance and requested them to stop contacting me, they have continued to call another 13 times! For anyone else experiencing similar harassment from this number, I would strongly recommend blocking it and steering clear of confused.com. Your phone number and personal details will definitely end up in the hands of other companies without your consent...
