Somebody phoned my partner saying he was caught driving 50 in a 30 limit. They said he had to pay up by the next day or else interest would pile up and he’d have to appear in court. The bloke sounded really smug and full of himself. We told him the call was being recorded, that we were reporting him to the police, and to get lost.

Like others have said, he wasn’t exactly rude, but definitely pushy. He claimed I owed for an unpaid parking fine from 2012 and warned that interest would be charged if I didn’t pay up. Then he tried to get my bank info. Before ending the call, I told him to do one and called him a complete muppet.
I’m about to report this lot to the Fraud Squad! Hopefully others will ring them on 0300 123 2040 and they can catch this dodgy bloke.

My missus got a call from this number and the bloke on the other end was really cheeky. He claimed that our number was being used to download dodgy pictures over our wifi. Sounded like a scam to me, trying to scare us into paying up so he said if we didn't he’d avoid going to the cops. Before he could carry on, I grabbed the phone off her and told him straight I was ringing the police. Honestly, it left us both a bit rattled.

He seemed like he was trying to scare us into handing over money so we "wouldn't involve the police", but that never happened. I grabbed the phone off my wife and warned him I’d ring the cops. It left us both pretty rattled. Like others have mentioned, it feels like it was a pre-recorded message.

I’ve been pranked before with that pizza thing, but that was just a recorded message. This time, there was an actual person on the line. He was telling me I owed over £200 for a parking fine and warned it would double if I didn’t pay up. Right from the beginning, he was really rude. When I told him to stop talking to me like rubbish and said he must be paying for his job by singing or something, they hung up super fast!

Yeah, this number is definitely some sort of joke. They rang me up saying they’d seen me on social media, then just started giggling. I ended the call, only for my good mate to send me a message with a recording of the whole call!

Still, it's been bothering me all day and night. I'm really relieved I looked up the number and found this website. Thanks for clearing things up. Got a call from this number from a bloke with a Brummie accent saying people had complained about my ‘dangerous’ driving and began giving me a right telling off - I just hung up, felt really uneasy. Got a call on Sunday, said I’d been clocked going 51 in a 50 limit and that I owed £120 fine. Asked how I wanted to pay. I just said no way and put the phone down. Absolute lowlifes, I wish I could track them down - they wouldn’t dare call me again then.

Don't pick up this number. Total scam. A bloke called Donald rang me pretending to be from the UK Parking Commission, claiming I owed £200 from a parking fine back in 2012 and asked how I wanted to pay. I asked for details about the ticket and he just dodged it. Told him I wasn’t paying and he threatened the amount would jump to £470 if I didn’t pay straight away, then had the nerve to ask if I’d learnt to park since 2012! I told him to **** off and hung up. No repeat calls since. If some poor sod falls for this trick, they might end up handing over their card info. Watch out!

I got called twice from this number today, and when I picked up the second time, the bloke claimed he was from my internet company with an Irish accent. He said my usage was through the roof and accused me of downloading loads of porn! I told him to stop messing about and hung up. This sort of thing should definitely be reported to the cops, feels really dodgy and could scare an older person stiff!

So this person rang me, asking for a Mr Wall. I was properly thrown and had no clue what was happening, so I just said no, sorry. Then they asked if they could speak to Mrs Wall instead. Still confused, I told them I didn’t know them and asked them to stop ringing me. After that, they wanted to speak to Harry Wall and I just ignored it. They asked if there were no Walls at my place?! That’s when it clicked for me and they went on to ask what keeps your house standing then?????

I’m still recovering in hospital so it was a bit of a worry, but thankfully I saw through the scam pretty quick.
