They told me HSBC would be sending a cheque for me to deposit into my bank. The date for receiving this was meant to be 28/02/2024, and they said I’d need to sign some claim forms they’d send me. Later, another person rang me saying I had to pay £200 upfront. I told her I couldn’t, a couple of times. When she asked when I get paid, I didn’t say, as the whole thing seemed fishy. Then she threatened to close my account, to which I just said alright.
