Someone called pretending to be from the Credit Investigations Department, but it turns out this so-called group isn’t even authorised by the FCA. Looks like a total scam to me.

Somebody called saying they were from a credit investigation team but it was pretty obvious it was a scam so I just ended the call straight away.

Picked up the phone and some person claimed they were ringing from Citizens Helpline, which isn’t legit at all. They’re faking being from the citizens advice bureau. It seems like a proper nasty scam - I guess some folks might get tricked by it.
