Got a text from someone called Ella claiming she’s from Reed Recruitment, saying they’re looking for people to work remotely and asking if I wanted to hear more. Something felt a bit off straight away, so I checked online and glad I did - turns out it was definitely dodgy!

Got a message from this number saying they had a job offer for me, but I’ve never heard of a legit company reaching out like that by text. It immediately felt dodgy, especially after seeing loads of others mentioning similar scams. Definitely not to be trusted!

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Reed Recruitment, offering a work-from-home gig where I'd watch films and write reviews for cash. Then, out of nowhere, I started getting messages on WhatsApp from a different number asking for my personal info. They wouldn’t give me any website or email to verify who they really were. Definitely felt iffy.

Got a text from someone called Ella at Reed Recruitment, asking if I'm interested in a remote job. Strange, since I have no clue where they got my number from.

I keep getting calls and whenever I pick up, there's just silence on the other end. No one ever talks or anything.

Got a text from this number claiming to be Ella from Reed Recruitment, offering remote work reviewing cinemas. I said yes just to see what happens... then they said someone else would contact me on WhatsApp, which did happen. The new contact was from 07961 736 722, said her name was Audrey Cathreine from Cineworld. They want you to help promote films or something. It's a total SCAM. When I asked for an official website or email, they ignored it and replied with random stuff to divert the convo. They refused to give any proper info until you sign up and hand over your details, which I didn’t do. They kept pushing for me to do some training session (which I didn’t), probably so they can charge you afterwards. Feels like a potential identity theft scheme too. Blocked both numbers straight away.
