Got a call from someone with an Asian accent saying they were from Sky about issues with my internet speed. Kept calling me ma’am the whole time. When I mentioned we don’t even use Sky for broadband, they said something about Sky controlling all the broadband networks in the UK! Bit odd if you ask me.

The phone rang quite early at 07:25, and it startled me as the number wasn't familiar at all.

Got a call on my Dad's mobile, some bloke claiming to be from Bank Security. I just put the phone down straight away. Decided to ring 1471 just to see who it was, and surprisingly it connected. When I tried calling the number back on my own mobile, it flashed up a warning about possible fraud. Oddly, the message left was quite courteous, spoken by a very polite English lady, saying they'd get back to me soon.

This number phoned me twice, once on the 10th and again on the 11th of January 2023, early in the morning about 7.30. By the time I managed to pick up, they had already hung up.

I got a call from someone saying it was Visa Debit, claiming someone was trying to withdraw £900 from my bank. They rang me from a few different numbers too, like 07773679748, 07441426687, 07773633867, and even 01223935151. Seemed pretty suspicious to me.
