I arranged for a plumbing service, and the number I found linked to the provider turned out to be a nightmare. They were a good couple of hours late and, believe it or not, they never bothered to turn up at all! When I rang to cancel the booking, the chap on the other end started losing his temper, insisting they were en route and even had the audacity to demand a cancellation fee of £200! I’ve since reported the incident to the police. What's more, the business that used to show up on Google connected to this number seems to have vanished into thin air!
