This is definitely a widespread international scammer issue... They’re targeting folks in the States as well as those of us here in the UK... all in pursuit of cold hard cash. I got a call where they asked me if I had my bank card handy and wanted me to read off the details. I responded with, "What on earth do you need my card information for?" It’s alarming how these global crooks are ringing up random individuals left, right, and centre.

I’ve had it with all these letdowns and dashed hopes… Trying to stay positive, but no jobs anywhere to be found... Feeling worn out, starving and really run down… Stuck in this cold flat that’s barely got any furniture, no heating either… Fed up with rubbish jobs that pay peanuts… And sick of getting hired then sacked straight away... Those scammers from India can forget it - there’s no way I’m handing over any money from my bank!

Got a call from this company claiming they'd help me claim back tax linked to the marriage allowance. They asked for loads of personal stuff like mine and my late husband's NI numbers, plus my signature. They already had my date of birth and all my old addresses. Then they asked for the date we got married and wanted to confirm my late husband's birthday again, along with my signature once more. They told me to call 03002003500 to find out my late husband’s NI number. They even mentioned my past PPI claims during the call, which felt a bit odd.

Hyc tax reclaim kept ringing me non stop, bit annoying but not a rip off or anything. As long as you dont mind giving up a third of your refund, they’ll help with your claim. I was a bit iffy at first but somehow got 200 quid back, and the HMRC sent me a letter confirming it. If you’re up for it though, you can sort this out on your own over the internet no problem.

They started asking how much I earned in 2018, which I honestly had no clue about. After that, they wanted to know if it was from a job or benefits. Then the bloke asked for my National Insurance number - I said no and hung up straight away.
