Some bloke called Jack Patel (ID: 888DCA60, which sounded dodgy) pretended he was from HSBC. He told me my bank account had been hacked and that some hacker tried to steal money. He even said he was on the hacker's trail to catch him. The guy mentioned a name, Andrei Stingaciu, and gave me a sort code, 230801, plus an account number 42262937. Then he asked me to send two separate payments to that account, supposedly to trap this hacker. Sounded fishy to me.
