Got a call from this number claiming to be from AST, offering help to get compensation for a car accident that wasn't even my fault. They even knew the other driver's info and my details. Total scam. They've rung me a bunch of times from both a landline and a mobile, these so-called 'ambulance chasers'. They say you can claim up to £2500 under some EU law and that no medical proof is needed! Honestly, they're just leeches, exploiting people's bad luck for their own cash while pretending to help. Steer clear.

Got a call from a lady claiming to be from AST about an accident I was in back in December. She named the driver who hit me from behind, but I told her I wasn’t interested. Then she tried to pass me on to the payments team to send me a cheque for injury. This isn’t the first time - I’ve had like 10 calls from different numbers over the past couple of days, all saying the same thing. I’ve just ended up blocking all those numbers now.

Got another call from a woman with a northern accent who knows about insurance claims roughly as much as my cat does. She acts like she’s some expert on your insurance claim but the second you ask any proper questions, it’s clear she’s clueless and dull. Honestly, I hope one day I catch her trying to jaywalk right in front of my car. Wouldn’t mind running her over and stopping another leech from scamming folks.

Got a call from someone saying they were from AST, asked if I was alright. I asked what AST stood for (turns out Accident Support Team), they wanted info about a crash I’d had. Told them to speak to my lawyer. Then they sounded surprised I had a solicitor. I told them they should already know I do. The caller said they were just checking how I was, and I told them not to be rude to me (not sure I was rude, but maybe). Proper fed up with these calls, loads of them recently. Blocked the number now.

Got a robo call about claiming my pension. It was a recorded woman asking if I moved a pension anytime in the past 12 years. The voice system wanted me to say 'yes', but I said 'maybe' and it just said it can't assist me. This was the 4th time it called me, this time around 8 in the evening.
