Got a call from someone claiming to be Lloyds Bank, but it was actually an Indian scammer. First, they rang from one number saying my card was at risk due to hackers and suspicious activity, so they needed to cancel it. Then, a follow-up call tried to trick me into giving my PIN and sending my card to some address for “investigation” of the chip, which supposedly would help catch the crooks. Of course, these scammers were just trying to get my real card and PIN so they could empty my account once they had it all. Thankfully I caught on before handing anything over.
