Got a call from someone saying they were from the Microsoft fraud division. They tried to trick me into downloading some remote access program and then asked me to sign into my online bank to move funds. Definitely a scam, watch out!

Somebody called me sayin they were from Microsoft Defender, and yeah, I fell for it, bit daft of me honestly. They managed to get control of my PC, and now I’m not sure what kind of mess I've got myself into. I did turn the computer off in the end, but I left it on way longer than I should have. It all started because I got a warning pop-up on the screen and couldn’t do anything else on it.

Complete scam! They called my nan saying Russian hackers were trying to get into her bank account. Best not to pick up or respond at all.
