Got a few calls from Birmingham numbers like 0121 790 0204, 0121 790 0197, and 0121 790 0226. They kept chatting about the financial market and even used my first name, which was kinda creepy. I’ve blocked every single one of those, but then I got a call from a mobile, 07440 964020, with the same spiel about financial markets. Bit annoying really!

I’ve started diverting those calls straight to my son, he’s in CID and says he’s looking into who’s ringing me.

Some bloke called me using my first name, started off by asking if I was having a good day. Then he wanted to know who I was, supposedly about some Education Plus thingy. He had an overseas accent, couldn't pin down exactly where from. I told him to never ring me again or I’d send the Mafia after him. He had a chuckle and told me to be careful about sharing my info online. I’ve blocked the number now. This was the first time I actually had a laugh and gave him a taste of his own medicine. No clue what scam he was pushing though.
